The Model Photographer Meetup: NY, NY

PO Studios was proud to bring our Model & Photographer Meetups to New York City for the very first time. Since 2022, these meetups have become a hub for collaboration, networking, and creativity — and New York was no exception. The evening was filled with photographers, models, and creators coming together to connect, create, and celebrate the art of storytelling through photography.

Studio Details

The venue itself played a starring role. Mike’s studio offered sweeping city views, natural light, and four versatile sets, creating the perfect creative playground. From editorial concepts to candid portraits, the space set the stage for inspired collaborations.

Mike Lens

Our host, Mike Lens, welcomed us into his stunning Manhattan studio on the 8th floor, complete with breathtaking city views. The studio featured four unique photography sets and professional lighting, giving everyone endless creative possibilities. Beyond this event, Mike is a talented filmmaker and content creator who also works with a marketing agency. His creativity continues online through his YouTube channel, where he shares filmmaking projects and insights with the creative community.

Tshyrad Levahn

The evening was also powered by the energy of Tshyrad Levahn, a model and creative collaborator. Tshyrad runs a broadcast channel dedicated to castings and modeling gigs in NYC, making him a connector in the local industry. He is a true asset to the creative community, with an impressive career that includes appearances in publications such as Vogue. His presence added authenticity, style, and real opportunity to the event.

Creative Campaign

To ensure the event reached the right audience, PO Studios launched a paid creative campaign. The results: 10,000+ views, 2k+ likes, 350 shares, and 72 saves.

These numbers speak to the excitement and demand within the New York creative community. The campaign not only drove attendance but also expanded our digital footprint well beyond the event itself.

Community Impact

The event wasn’t just about content creation — it was about building real connections. Photographers, models, and creatives shared ideas, exchanged contacts, and left with opportunities for future collaborations. This sense of community is what makes our meetups so impactful, and New York proved once again how strong the creative network can be.

After Party at Nebula

The night didn’t end when the cameras were packed away. Just a short 4-minute walk from the studio, we gathered at Nebula, one of New York’s most iconic nightlife venues. The after party kept the energy flowing, blending creativity with celebration and giving attendees a chance to unwind and connect on a personal level.

Thank You

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to Mike Lens and Tshyrad Levahn for their collaboration, and to every creative who joined us for this milestone event. New York welcomed us with open arms, and we can’t wait to bring more of our Model & Photographer Meetups to new cities in the future.
